How to Become an SEO Freelancer & Specialist!

In today's video I wanted to give you some thoughts and ideas if you plan on becoming an SEO or digital marketer. I started back in 1999 with my family's business and have loved it (well 90% of the time) ever since! Now it is not as easy as it used to be, but it still can be a lot of fun and you can be very successful at it.

With this video, I wanted to give you some tips on how you can start learning and testing SEO without having a real business or working for a marketing company. Because of the Internet, with a little help, you can learn a ton online with really no need for an sort of college or education background in it.

Few Tips

• Buy a domain. In GoDaddy you can get one for less than $5.00.
• Get hosting. In GoDaddy you can get it for less than $50 a year.
• Build a blog in Wordpress. So many free themes!
• Build a small site in Shopify. Pretty cheap monthly if you want to try to sell a product.

When you are just starting out and testing, my biggest tip is to test it out with a hobby or interest of yours. This is the best way to stick with it, especially in the beginning when you won't be expecting anything in return. It's so much easier when you do it with something you love.
